New art facade at Tierpark

At the beginning of July, artistic work will begin on the wall

Giebelwand der Erich-Kurz-Straße 9-11

The preparations for the fourth artistic facade from LOA Berlin are running at full speed. From July 3, the gable facade on Erich-Kurz-Strasse 9-11, directly across from the entrance to Tierpark, will be transformed into a canvas by the internationally renowned artist 1010.

In the first two weeks in July, he will paint his design “Drops and rings” onto the 500-square meter wall from a riser – and as the title indicates, it won’t be an animal, but an abstract pattern which decorates the gable in the future.

You can see the work first-hand. Once again, there is a diverse creative supporting programme all around Heinrich-Dathe-Platz, consisting of workshops and informative events for young and old. A big facade festival is scheduled for July 14 in the afternoon.
